Sudo the Caralynx

A curious cat, in both senses of the word.

Shy like the Eurasian lynx, yet bold like the caracal, Sudo's intrigue for technology carries him unto new adventures every day. Always willing to help out, he seeks out problems and solves them in unconventional ways. With laser-sharp focus, he works tirelessly to bring out the best in the projects he lays his paws on. He is slightly socially awkward, often having trouble reading the intentions of others and missing jokes, yet if you can break through this shroud, you'll find him quite personable and perhaps a little charming. He loves a certain ferret-bat very much.

Physical characteristics

  • Dusty-orange fur, much like a caracal's, but with a shade of lynx's gray. The fur becomes grayer in the winter, and more orange in the summer. Elongated spots cover the body. Underbelly is a bit lighter. (Generally natural colors is the goal.)
  • Big caracal-like ears, black on the inside, but with a lynx's ear fur pattern on the outside. The outer rim of the ears and the tufts are a particular shade of cyan.
  • The rim of the ears are blue, and a line runs down from the back of the ears to the base, and spreads along the base until it almost touches the edges of the ears.
  • White sclera, orange iris; iris is vertically elongated like a cat's.
  • Nose: dark-pink
  • Facial ruffs characteristic of a lynx, perhaps with gradient. Standard lynx markings around the eyes.
  • NB: The transition between orange and white on the face may be aligned with the nose (anatomically correct) or along the mouth, at the artist's discretion.
  • Below the forearms and shins are different shades of blue, starting with a light blue band, a medium blue that gradients down to the fingers/toes, and an indigo for the digits.
  • Legs: digitigrade
  • Paws: large and fluffy
  • Paw pads: dark colored, basically black
  • Tail: standard lynx length/pattern (the ferret jokes it's a nub)
  • Physique: kinda average; just a bit muscular
